Greetings Everyone!
Drawing class is up and running. For the first, full week of school we have been working on the expressive nature of drawing. We have did some Qi Gong drawing with charcoal and spray paint, experimented with blind drawing, drew self portraits first on mirrors and then on paper, and tried our hands at drawing a really big mess while standing and sitting at easels. All this will build familiarity with the studio and the materials, and engage the students in fun and light-hearted activities which will make them more comfortable with their development. The students all started a blog to track their development and provide the parents with a way to see what is going on in class. Go have a look!
