World Music Ensemble: 5th - 8th Grade students Tu/Th 3 - 4:30
This percussion-based music ensemble is committed to exploring musical traditions from around the world. Musical arrangements for pitched and un-pitched percussion instruments are customized to include a variety of other instruments based on the interests and experiences of ensemble members. No prior percussion experience is necessary but an openness to trying new instruments is essential. In 2017-18 year we will be exploring the music of Ireland and Trinidad. Performance dates are TBD.
